The financial statement items that can be created and edited on the Closing of accounts tools view are income statement, balance sheet and additional attachments.
Closing of accounts tools view can be accessed by choosing Accounting > Closing of accounts tools. Each financial statement item on the view can be edited by clicking Edit button next to the item.
Income statement and balance sheet
- The editing views of income statement and balance sheet have the same buttons and functions.
- The buttons are placed to two rows on the view and the right mouse button opens a menu with more functions.Rows can be added to both, income statement and balance sheet, and the texts on the rows can be edited.

The figures are retrieved to income statement and balance sheet from the accounting reports so that the searched receipt type is All.
- Thus, unfinished transactions are also retrieved to the report if the report type is balance sheet and they should either be processed to become business transactions or to be accrued to the next financial year.
Buttons of the view
Save
- The button saves the information of income statement / balance sheet.
- Saved income statement / balance sheet can be edited later.
Search report
- Button retrieves the information from the data base to income statement / balance sheet.
- New information replaces the old when the new info is saved.
- Button opens the window, on which it can bee defined whether the type of the report is default or brief, whether the rows with zero values are showing and are all accounts shown or not.
- Brief report does not show all accounts even if the option Show all accounts is chosen.
- If the option Show all accounts is chosen, in addition to the sum rows, the bookkeeping account groups and the accounts with sum will be showing on the report.
- If the option Show rows with zero values is chosen, the rows with no sum will be showing on the report.

Preview
- Button opens the income statement / balance sheet in HTML, Excel or PDF format.
Help
- Button opens the window with instructions.
Add row
- Clicking the button adds the row below the selected row.
- Button opens a window, in which the row information can be defined.
- There are three different row types:
- Plain row, title row and sum row
- There are no different functions for different row types, but the row type effects the appearance of the row on financial statement.
- Title and sum rows are bold, and the title row does not have sum. It must be considered, that the added rows are not automatically counted in to the sums, but they must be manually added.
- Row indentation (level 1-6) field defines the row’s level of indentation. The level 6 is the level of bookkeeping account.
Delete row
- Button deletes the selected row.
- Deleting a row will not be automatically considered when calculating the sums. If the deleted row affects the sums, the sums must be manually corrected.
Chane row type
- Button enables changing the type of the selected row.
- When changing the row type, there are same options as when adding a row with Add row button.
Remove indentation
- Button removes one level from the row’s existing level of indentation.
Add identation
- Button adds one level to the row’s existing level of indentation.
Right mouse button menu
- Change row type option enables changing the type of the selected row.
- Remove indentation option removes one level from the row’s existing level of indentation.
- Add indentation option adds one level to the row’s existing level of indentation.
Additional attachments of financial statement
- Attachments can be added and saved on the Additional attachments of the financial statement view.
Save and update to financial statement
- Button enables saving the attachments to the financial statement’s Additional attachments view.
- Only the title information (attachment number, name and description) is retrieved to the financial statement document, i.e., not the actual attachments.
- The actual attachments are formed to their own files to Archived financial statements view when the financial statement document is archived with the Save and update to financial statement.
Preview
- Button enables observing the attachments in the format they are saved to the archive and attached to the printout version of the financial statement.
Add PDF attachments
- Button enables retrieving the files from user’s own computer to the additional attachments.
Delete row
- Button deletes the selected row.
