This guide goes over the information submitted to the Incomes Register with the Earnings payment report.
The Earnings payment report is divided into two separate type of information reported: the report information and the payment information.
Report information submitted to the Incomes Register
Income payer information, namely the company ID or social security number, the company name, contact language, address, and the payer type information, if that is necessary. For more detailed instructions on the submitted payer information can be found here.
Income earner’s social security number or foreign social security number, income earner’s name, date of birth (submitted with the social security number), gender (only for persons who do not have a Finnish social security number), address in Finland or home country and the name of the country. The income earner’s Insurance information, i.e. the insurance contract, pension insurance (TyEL, YEL, MyEL), the company ID of the pension insurance provider, accident insurance policy number and provider, insurance exceptions, the additional information type, and—if necessary—any markings for international cases.
Employment information submitted includes the start and end date of employment, the reason for ending the employment (mandatory with Keva), occupation classification, registration grounds (if Keva). More detailed guide on the information submitted about the income earner’s employment is found here.
The payday and payment period of the salary must be reported to the Incomes Register. Absences must also be reported via the income types/salary types. Procountor has a built-in tracking of absences but this information is not transferred to the Incomes Register. If one wishes to give voluntary, additional information about absences it must be done through another service.
Payment information submitted to the incomes register
The euro sum of wages and earnings must be reported to the Incomes Register. These sums must be broken down by the income type so different parties can utilize the information. Procountor uses the same income types as the Incomes Register but instead of income types, we use the term salary type.
Additionally, deductions from net pay must be reported to the Incomes Register as they instruct.
