Salaries reporting (new) view is used to observe the development of salaries paid in 2019 and onwards from the perspectives of salary types, salary categories, persons and person groups.
Salaries reporting (new) view is found in Reports > Salaries reporting (new).
Salaries reporting (new) view is updated automatically at intervals two to three times a day. The latest update time is visible in the top-left section of the report.
Note! If there is a need to search salary information from 2018 (or earlier years), the older Salaries reporting (in Reports > Salaries reporting) has to be used.
Search criteria
Common to some of the search criteria menus is the eraser icon ( with definition of Clear selections) in the top right corner. The eraser is used to clear selections in the menus. There is also a Clear selections button in the bottom of the view that is used to set all values back to default. The different characteristics of the different search criteria menus are explained more thoroughly below:
Time period:
- Current period
- Current holiday year
- Current year
- Previous year
- Start and End fields: Free date definition either by filling values in the fields or by using the calendar icon. If the words Start and End change to red colour when setting the dates, a financial year has not yet been created to the chosen time period. After time period is set, clicking Select period button sets it to the report.
Figures:
- Payday: with this selection, the report values will be formed by the paydays of salary slips.
- Receipt date: with this selection, the report values will be formed by the receipt dates of salary slips.
Salary slip status:
Salary slips to be included in the report can be filtered by their statuses. This is done by clicking the names of the statuses. If some of the statuses below are not available in this search criterion, there are no salary slips available in those statuses along with the restrictions of other search criteria.
- Unfinished
- Approved
- Payment queued
- Payment sent to bank
- Paid
Salary type / Salary category
This search criterion is used to make more specific determinations about the salary types and categories to be included in the report. All salary types and categories are included by default.
- Search field: This field is used to search salary types or categories by entering a name (or a part of the name). The field also functions as a drop-down menu to choose a salary type or category by clicking it. Choosing multiple salary types or categories is done by highlighting the names with holding down the left button of the mouse.
- Listing of salary types and categories: Salary types or categories to be included in the report can be chosen also from the list of salary types or categories below the Search field. Salary types or categories are chosen by clicking them.
Person / Person group
This search criterion is used to make more specific determinations about the persons and person groups to be included in the report. All persons and person groups are included by default.
- Search field: This field is used to search persons or person groups by entering a name (or a part of the name). The field also functions as a drop-down menu to choose a person or person group by clicking it. Choosing multiple persons or person groups is done by highlighting the names with holding down the left button of the mouse.
- Listing of persons and person groups: Persons or person types to be included in the report can be chosen also from the list of persons or person groups below the Search field. Persons or person groups are chosen by clicking them.
Upper graph
The upper graph of the view has three different display options that are chosen by clicking their symbols (in the top-right corner of the view):
- Salaries overview
- Salaries by type
- Salaries by category
To salary rows >> button transforms the view into row-specific mode. << Back button changes the view back to the default setting.
Pdf button is used to export the report to a PDF file.
Excel icon (Send to Excel) button exports the report data to an Excel file.
Lower section
The lower section of the view contains row information about salary types, salary categories, persons and person groups. The information can be organized in different ways by clicking the Order by category / Order by person text and By category / By type text.

Excel icon (Send to Excel) button export the report data to an Excel file.
When only a singe person is chosen in the Person section of search criteria, a new section opens in the view. This section contains more detailed information about the selected person under a heading named as “Person’s salary information”.
